The Bruery – Placentia, St. Veronus Celebration

Have you ever been to The Bruery in Placentia?  It’s not really a restaurant, heck it’s not even a bar.  The Bruery is an Orange County microbrewery that just also happens to have it’s own tasting room.  Every Friday from 2Pm-8PM and every Saturday from 12PM-6PM their tasting room is open to discover and possibly enjoy what could be your next favorite beer.   This Saturday, March 14th from 2-6 PM they will be celebrating St. Patrick’s day the Belgian way, by honoring the patron saint of Belgian brewers, St. Veronus!  The celebration will include, Belgian snacks and cheeses, and of course their own Belgian-Style brews!  On top of all that they will be opening up a very special beer for the celebration, Melange #3, which is a complex blend of three unreleased bourbon barrel aged beers (15% ABV!).  I’ve gone to their events in the past and it’s really a fun place to go.  I won’t be able to make this celebration but if anyone does happen to attend I’d love to post up your experience and possibly even some pictures if you take them.  Must be 21 or over to enjoy…
