Pasta Connection – Costa Mesa

I just wanted to quickly share this great breakfast I had a Pasta Connection in Costa Mesa a couple weekends ago.  You may remember that the Costa Mesa location closed in 2009, but what you may aware of is that they have recently reopened across the street about 500 feet from the old location.

I ordered the Country Breakfast ($6.95) which comes with two eggs, 2 sausage patties and biscuits and gravy and your choice of hash browns or home fries.  Although I would normally go with hash browns the waitress tempted me to try the home fries, they are topped with cheese, green onions, and mushrooms, I would suggest you do the same!  Everything with this breakfast was above average if not better.  The eggs were cooked perfect and everything mixed well when ate.  Typically I like to eat my items individually but  when it comes to breakfast nothing beats mixing a little of this with that.

One of best parts of the meal was the home fries, the cheese that topped it had melted through to the grill and gave it a delicious cheesy crunch that I loved.

The waitress was really nice and attentive.  I’d definitely come back again for breakfast and I would like to try their Italian and Argentinian meals for dinner someday.
