Cooker Shredded Beef Sandwiches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We purchased a <a class=\"zem_slink freebase\/en\/pressure_cooking\" title=\"Pressure cooking\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pressure_cooking\" rel=\"wikipedia\">pressure cooker<\/a> a couple of months ago and I have become obsessed with it. \u00a0The fact that I can take a piece of meat that normally takes 3-4 hours to cook and cook it in about an hour has charged me up to find more things to cook in the pressure cooker. \u00a0First it was corned beef, then it was a pork sirloin roast, and today it was beef. \u00a0Not just any type of beef but shredded beef sandwiches! \u00a0I ordered a cookbook that arrived yesterday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D0%26ref_%3Dnb%5Fsb%5Fss%5Fi%5F3%5F7%26y%3D0%26field-keywords%3Dmiss%2520vickie%2527s%2520big%2520book%2520of%2520pressure%2520cooker%2520recipes%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps%26sprefix%3Dmiss%2520vi&amp;tag=pobyda-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957\">Miss Vickie&#8217;s Big Book of Pressure Cooker Recipes<\/a> and it&#8217;s filled with page after page of delectable recipes that I can&#8217;t wait to try. \u00a0First on my list to try was the Shredded Barbecued Beef Sandwiches listed on page 125. \u00a0Start with mixing together a can of <a class=\"zem_slink freebase\/en\/dr_pepper\" title=\"Dr Pepper\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dr_Pepper\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Dr. Pepper<\/a>, Molasses, <a class=\"zem_slink freebase\/en\/apple_cider_vinegar\" title=\"Apple cider vinegar\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Apple_cider_vinegar\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Apple Cider Vinegar<\/a>, Liquid Smoke, and spices, throw in a 2 lbs. eye of round roast and 40 minutes later it&#8217;s done cooking. \u00a0All that is left to do is shred the beef and reduce the home-made BBQ sauce made from the ingredients.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1633\" Vickie&#8217;s Shredded Barbecued Beef<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We were both very happy with this recipe and would\u00a0definitely\u00a0cook it again. \u00a0The meat was cooked perfectly tender to shred after just 40 minutes. \u00a0The only slight problem was that the sauce was a little watery even after simmering it for 15 minutes to get it to reduce, but it did well once mixed back up with the beef and being placed in between two halves of <a href=\"http:\/\/frenchspastry.com\/\">French&#8217;s Pastry Bakery<\/a> (in Orange, 2064 N.
