Growing up we typically had simple meals; fried chicken, spaghetti from a jar, Kraft Mac n’Cheese, etc.\u00a0 My parents didn’t usually cook from cookbooks, although they have the typical cookbooks you would expect to find in a home, the Big Red Betty Crocker Cookbook<\/a> and the Better Homes and Garden Cookbook.\u00a0 Books that till this day I recommend everyone have for basic home cooked meals (I have my own copies today).\u00a0 But one cookbook they have takes the cake as something I cannot recollect they ever cooked a meal out of.<\/p>\n

Asking my mom about the cookbook she told me she got it for like 75 cents or something years ago.\u00a0 I remember seeing it\u00a0 several times as a boy, and of course I remember the naked family.\u00a0 I think the only recipe my parents use from it is the Baked Ham Glaze.\u00a0 Not many of the recipes really call out for me to try but I’m willing to take one for the readers.\u00a0 Please post a comment with your suggestion on what I should try to cook and I’ll post a feature about it in July.<\/p>\n
