One of our favorite Sunday morning breakfast destinations if Arthur’s Family Restaurant in Orange.\u00a0 Arthur’s serves down to earth home cooking for Breakfast and Lunch every day, along with Dinner Thursday through Saturday.\u00a0 Their claim to fame is that they have the best breakfast in town.\u00a0 I’m sure there are some that would disagree, but in my opinion they are one of the best.\u00a0 This isn’t frou frou snob breakfast, this is what you expect from a greasy spoon, plain ol’ good cooking like you would expect to get at home.<\/p>\n

For our visit this past weekend Mrs. DanGarion ordered one of her usuals, the Country Benedict ($9.29).<\/p>\n

I ordered something I don’t get that often, but always enjoy when I do, Chicken and Waffles (@$10.29)<\/p>\n

I paid a bit extra to have two breasts, but that’s just my preference.\u00a0 You can choose to have two thighs as well.\u00a0 Also you have the option of 4 pieces of chicken (!!!) and 1\/2 or 1 full waffle.\u00a0 The Broasted chicken was cooked perfect, with a golden brown and delicious crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside.\u00a0 The chicken tastes great to each with the waffles because of the sweet and savory mixture.\u00a0 I highly suggest to try it.\u00a0 This is what made Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles<\/a> in Los Angeles famous, I suggest trying them too!<\/p>\n

Service is always pretty good at Arthur’s, but we might have the advantage that most of the wait stuff knows us because we have gone there for about 4 years now.<\/p>\n

As for their lunch and dinner, I highly suggest trying one of their burgers, they aren’t the gourmet type burger you will find at Haven Gastropub, but something about them really impresses me.\u00a0 And if you order a dinner you have to get the Bread Pudding as your dessert, in my opinion is the best bread pudding served in all of OC.\u00a0 Funny story they took the bread pudding off the menu a couple of months ago and public outrage and notes on receipts made them bring it back!\u00a0 Win for the customers!<\/p>\n\n
