From the start of the meal to the end everything was delicious. We received a fresh order of chips and some of the best salsa I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant. The salsa wasn’t plain and drab like many places can be. It had lots of flavor and just a little bit of spice, it could have been hotter but it was perfect for what it was. For my meal I got the Flautas Dinner which came with two flautas covered in sour cream, guacamole, and cheese, and a side of rice and beans. The flautas were excellent although there was a bit more sour cream then I really needed. The beans were different in a very good way, they had a slight red color to them and tasted great. The rice was standard fare but very good. My fiancee had a veggie burrito which she enjoyed but need to flavor up a bit with the salsa (which I also did with my flautas, because the salsa was tasty!).<\/p>\n
I’ve passed this Mexican restaurant numerous times, both the Fountain Valley and the Orange locations. They have been in the Entertainment Guide coupon book for the last couple years but I was never really sure because I can be picky with Mexican food. But now I’m hooked. It’s up there with my other favorite Mexican food establishments.<\/p>\n
Service was very nice. They came around a couple times to make sure everything was good and that our drinks were taken care of. It was a great dinner.<\/p>\n
