It’s been an eventful year and as we wind down it’s always a great time to look back and reflect on the best of the year. So with that I bring you the best Eats of Eat in OC in 2011.<\/p>\n

We started off the year with a bang of an opening at Chapter One in Santa Ana that included our first taste of a scotch egg and one of my top 5 burgers I’ve had all year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next there is the amazing shredded pastrami ruben I had at Roscoe’s Famous Deli in Fullerton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then the old stand by Onassis at my childhood favorite the Mad Greek in my hometown of Stanton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For Eat in OC 2011 was the year of the burger as we devoured the perfectly constructed burgers at the Burger Parlor in Fullerton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We declared that Troy’s Burgers in Orange<\/a> has the best breakfast burritos in Orange County.<\/p>\n

Pieology in Fullerton<\/a> was the best new concept bringing the production line concept to Pizza.<\/p>\n

The Hot Dog war began in Orange as Game Day Fire Grilled Hot Dogs<\/a> opened across the street from PCH Hot Dogs.<\/p>\n

A bagel place\u00a0surprised me with a mouth watering burger at Avalon Bagels to Burgers in Placentia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

My trip to Austin introduced me to real BBQ Beef Ribs and the candy of the gods at Southside Market and Barbeque in Elgin, Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When the PB in the PBLT stands for pork belly you can’t go wrong, The Lime Truck<\/a> means business and really does make some great food.<\/p>\n

And lastly the G at G Burger in La Habra<\/a> means Greatest as we discovered the greatest burger of 2011 is tucked away in the Northern part of Orange County.<\/p>\n
