Upscale Casual Restaurant Plans Reopening Celebration on 4030 Barranca Parkway<\/p>\n
TUSTIN, Calif. (November 17, 2008) \u2013 Mimi\u2019s Cafe, a collection of upscale casual dining restaurants, will celebrate the grand reopening of its Irvine restaurant with a series of community events. \u00a0 City officials and community members will attend the ribbon cutting on Thursday, November 20, while more than $3,000 worth of free gift cards and coupons will be offered to guests. \u00a0Prior to the ribbon cutting, Wednesday, November 19 will be a day of delicious fundraising with a percentage of the day\u2019s proceeds benefiting Children\u2019s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). \u00a0During these events, guests can experience the redesigned restaurant and sample Mimi\u2019s Cafe\u2019s new \u201cJust Enough\u201d \u2013 favorite menu items now available in smaller portions \u2013 and \u201cComfort Classics\u201d prepared fresh daily from scratch.<\/p>\n
\u201cMimi\u2019s Cafe has been part of the Irvine community for many years. \u00a0We are thrilled to share the enhanced Mimi\u2019s Cafe dining experience with our loyal guests and new visitors.\u201d said Tim Pulido, president of Mimi\u2019s Cafe.<\/p>\n
The Irvine location follows recent reopenings in San Bernardino and Laguna Niguel as the newly updated d\u00e9cor will eventually roll out to the 139 locations nationwide. \u00a0 The new design also includes a full service bar with specialty drinks including the Mimitini and Fresh Squeezed Margaritas.<\/p>\n
As part of the Irvine reopening, Mimi\u2019s Cafe will be raising funds for CHOC. \u00a0\u201cWe are thankful for all of the years of support from Mimi\u2019s Cafe. \u00a0It\u2019s a great way to get the community involved in a fun way,\u201d said Zachariah Moonitz, manager of special events. \u00a0Funds raised will benefit the Childlife\u2019s program, which has aided hundreds of thousands of Orange County families.<\/p>\n
