Haven Gastropup<\/strong> in Orange is opening this Friday, Sept, 4th, 2009.\u00a0 It’s an interesting choice of days to open, since it’s coincides with the first day of the Orange International Street Fair.\u00a0 Haven’s is located right next to Irish Street which is one of the most crowded locations during the entire street fair.\u00a0 I’m looking forward to trying Haven’s Gastropub as soon as possible, but will probably skip trying to eat there over this weekend, unless we end up making it Labor Day morning…\u00a0 You can check out their menu at their official website<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Haven will specialize in modern Eur0pean and American comfort food, as well as handcrafted beers.<\/p>\n

Kimmie's Coffee Cup Sign<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In addition to Haven, their soon to be next door neighbor, Kimmie’s Coffee Cup<\/strong> appears to nearly ready to open as well.\u00a0 Yesterday as I was driving home I saw that the sign was being installed and that most of the inside of the restaurant appeared to be in place.\u00a0 This will be the third Kimmie’s Coffee Cup location, they are known for their fresh cooked meals made from scratch and their signature country style sausage patties.<\/p>\n
