Orange, California Restaurant Reviews

Tacos Sinaloa 2 – Orange

Just around the corner from my house I have the choice of about 5 Mexican restaurants, it’s always a difficult decision, so difficult it has taken me this long to check out Tacos Sinaloa 2.  The funny thing is, I took me about the same amount of time to check out the original Tacos Sinaloa once it opened in Santa Ana on 17th.  I’m happy to have finally decided to try them though because I really liked the food I was served.

For just around 7 bucks I got this great plate of tacos, one each of carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada, the best out of the three was the carnitas, but the carne asada followed close behind.  All tacos come with guacamole, onions, and cilantro, as you can tell I asked for no cilantro and the waitress was happy to take my request!  The beans and rice were pretty good but they are just palate cleansers to the stars of the show.

The salsa they serve with the chips isn’t the best, but fortunately they have 3 other salsas that you can walk up and get, I suggest any of them other than the one they give you, it’s rather bland.

Tacos Sinaloa has daily specials including a Taco Tuesday special of $.99 tacos, now that is a deal that can’t be beat!
