We celebrated Happy Hour with my parents on Monday after work all the way at The Crab Pot in Long Beach. That’s right, Eat in OC actually escaped from the Orange Curtain of Orange Country and trekked all the way to the LBC for a little R&R. This review will be short and sweet with mostly pictures.
We each ordered an item off of their Happy Hour menu, along with getting plate of their $1 Happy Hour “From the Vine” Pasta.
Overall the meal was just average. Favorite items from what we ordered were the calamari and the spicy fries. The pasta and crab cakes were the least impressive of the bunch, although the sausage in the pasta was really good.
Along with the meal I had an Amstel Light, while my dad had some sparkling wine. Mrs. DanGarion and my mom had the drinks displayed in the slideshow.

Nice pics, sir! Had a clambake party at the Crab Pot when I graduated from Cal St. Long Beach – crazy good fun. I've never had anything else on the menu, but those spicy fries look fab.
I'd like the Crab Pot better if their SeaFests weren't so overpriced. http://elmomonster.blogspot.com/2007/10/crab-po…I remember their Happy Hour being free (or nominally priced) when you buy a drink. It was off of a small buffet table (one trip only if I can remember correctly). Bummed that they seemed to have changed that.
The buffet is $1 a trip, it just was the pasta on Monday though.
